Tell Congress: It’s Time to Pass the Afghan Adjustment Act
JFCS East Bay has supported resettling more than 1500 Afghans in our community since the U.S military left Afghanistan. Too many of these newcomers, many of whom supported Americans in their own country, still face uncertainty about staying here. Please join us and HIAS to tell our elected representatives that it’s time to pass this legislation enabling Afghans to gain permanent legal status in the U.S.
